Pico is once again a protagonist of the Rally di Roma Capitale after today, Wednesday 26 July, he hosted the pre-race tests envisaged by the official program which involved many Italian and foreign drivers.

 

During today, the crews who have chosen to carry out the competitive preparations for the sixth round of the FIA European Rally Championship and fifth of the Sparco Italian Absolute Rally Championship, thus confronted themselves with the technicality of the chosen section, condensed of all those characteristics which have always distinguished the special stages in Pico, recognized by many as the most difficult ever.

Passion is palpable in the town, so I thank Max Rendina and Motorsport Italia who chose Pico for the pre-race test session with the determination to work in the future to reorganize our Pico Rally which has given so much to this city".

 

Tomorrow's event will continue in its preparatory phase with the drivers engaged in reconnaissance of the route, carried out with road cars. The departure will be Friday evening at 20:00 from the Colosseum in Rome where the first spectacular show rehearsal will also take place. The route will then return to Frusinate with the stops on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 to then end in Fiuggi on Sunday from 18:00.
