The Rally di Roma Capitale is living its last hours before the start. Tomorrow, Friday 28 July, after the free practice sessions in Fumone scheduled from 8:00 am, the race will officially start from Rome, in front of the Colosseum, with a truly unmissable starting ceremony open to all.
 
The Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, the President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca, the Councilor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Rome Capital Alessandro Onorato will be present as well as a very long list of regional, local and international institutional presences . To open the ceremony, from 19:30, also the Musical Band of the Rome Capital Local Police who will play the Italian anthem.
 
The cars, as scheduled, will descend from Fiuggi to Rome up to the Bocca della Verità. From 18:00 the Local Police Corps of Rome Capital will escort the competitors in groups of 15 from the Bocca della Verità to the Colosseum, Via degli Annibaldi, where the starting platform will be set up. The starting ceremony will begin at 19:25, while at 20:00 the first car of the Rally di Roma Capitale will take to the stage in front of which the tricolor flag will be raised to sanction the start of this eleventh edition, sixth round of the FIA European Rally Championship and fifth of the Absolute Italian Rally Sparco Championship.
 
Immediately after the start, the drivers will get ready for the competitive start of the race with the SSS1 “Colosseo ACI Roma”, the spectacular show stage in Colle Oppio that runs with the Colosseum in the background. Three VIP lounge areas with reserved access will also be created along the track, while all the other areas of the start and the special show will be free to enter.
 
The Colosseum race will be followed live on WRC+ All Live, the subscription service offered by the Promoter of the European Championship and by RAI Sport, Digital Terrestrial Channel 58.
